As for me I can only fix by killing myself - that is totally gamebreaking!

Second Wrong number of deployed turrets

And the last is the map Arx Novena often causes infinite load screen, it's mostly the only map to do so on featured map servers. Plus it's said it's poorly optimized as well. Remove this map and BLUESHIFT (cuz it's lame) from featured map servers and forget it.

Here is the main problem with a thread like this...

Like the "survey" they used a while back you will get a lot of "bad" ideas that players think are a priority.

They "seem" like good ideas on paper to them but in reality they are bad ideas.

You (APC) seem open minded and know the game from BOTH (Comp & Pub) perspectives.

FFS DON'T use a survey/forum posters as the basis of this endeavor.

You already know what needs to be fixed/adjusted.


Do we really need 50 TCNs saying they want to put 50 turrets out and be able to mount them anywhere?

And yeah sometimes when I try to deploy a turret it just doesn't happen, I click left mouse button and nothing, until use ammo station.

And this case is with all deployables and belt items of all classes not only TCN's turrets :!:

People spam any bugs they can think of. Please contact people well known for their experience with game and good ideas for full report on state of the game and easy to do, important to have bugfixes. AEnubis and Nark for start.

I'd filter out all the "balance" stuff. Anything about changing weapons, remove strikes/shrikes and what not. Community will never be unanimous about balance, bugs are the opposite - everyone wants them to be fixed.

Still the amount of bugs is huge so it will require some work to make the final list (remove redundant bugs, prioritize etc.)

Here are gameplay bugs that I think affect gameplay for the worse.

1. Last hit fractals do like 1200 damage. Expected results: Should do the same damage as any previous hit. Not 3x so. Impact: Fractal spam is promoted and earns many kills that it shouldnt.

2. Strikes regularly kill players that are under shelter. This is extraordinarily frustrating, since players make deliberate efforts to find shelter to avoid it. The system should do a trace from the root of the player directly upwards to the skybox. If the trace intersects anything (eg a ceiling), then that player should not be killed. OR, (Design change: require running sensors for access to strikes)

3. First 2 bullets of X1 lmg are hitscan. This makes that gun more effective than it should be.

Not sure if it is a bug:
Votekick success settings seem to be too strict. This prevents the players from regulating themselves by ejecting cheaters/griefers. Recommended: APC would need to be able to adjust these settings systemwide without a patch to finetune them.


Low effort features:
A means for players to hide servers they are not eligible for (by level) would be good.
A means to hide servers that have less than (2) players would be good (configurable setting)
Supporting ranks beyond 50 would be good.
A Light Jammer Pack for Inf would give the community a way to experiment with a weaker inf in comp. Cheap to make
A Heavy Jammer Pack for DMB would give the community a way to experiment with more counters to inf in comp & give more options in pubs. Cheap to make
A passive, non-turret pack for TCN would give the community a way to experiment with a weaker tech without ganking the class. Eg. A light Regen Pack (saveas from Jugg pack) might be easy to make. You could add +100hp to it to make it more useful.


Monetizing features:
Pay only Gold skins for weapons. Pricing would be 1/2 - 1/3 the current class skin prices
Pay-XP (Rental) for configurable jet trail colors (adds another xp sink for endgame players)

Not sure if it's a big bug, but one that I've never seen reported.

There are issues with hit registration on EXR Turrets when shocklance melee-ing them.

There are parts of the turret that make the "Hit Sound" when melee-ed but it doesn't do damage.

As far as *BIG* bugs, the biggest bug is that the Cloak pack still consumes energy when you are "semi-cloaked", and that the time it takes to initially cloak is variable (Sometimes instant, sometimes several seconds long).

Another one that should be dealt with is the base top boost toobs in Blueshift can be used by enemies if they hit them from the front.

Not sure that's a bug. I think the design is that the cloak pack consumes energy while the player has it turned on, whether or not the player meets the requirements to be invisible.

Not sure that's a bug. I think the design is that the player cannot be fully invisible for X seconds after shooting or taking damage, EVEN if the player turns on the cloak pack After he stops firing. If the player has not shot or taken damage for the required time, then he goes invisible right away.


Good catch on the EXR turrets melee hitbox. It's definitely not matching the visual presentation of the turret.

It is just flat out shenanigans that the pack draws energy while not providing a benefit.

Irregardless the variable cloaking is definitely a bug, as it does that even without being shot/shooting. I get it right on spawn a lot.
